8 month checkup

I went to see the good doctor yesterday for my 8 month checkup. I wasn't feeling sick, but she noticed that I had the beginnings of an ear infection. I got some medicine and am getting better already.

Here are my current stats:
Weight: 18.4 lbs. / 59th percentile (up from 16.5/59% 2 months ago)
Height: 27.5" / 68% (27"/88%)
Head Circ: 44.5cm / 77% (43cm/64%)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Mom! Mom is so special we even had 2 cakes for her! Grandma came over, but Grandpa was still sick so I didn't get to see him. Feel better, dude!

After the party we drove back home to LA. I slept the entire time. It's nice to be back home in my own bed but I'll sure miss visiting with my grandparents.

Thanksgiving revisited

Saba made sure I had a BIG box of Cheerios to enjoy during my stay.

And enjoy them I have.

Mmm...veggies. I personally tested each piece before we served this tray to our guests. Never can be too safe these days.


I joined Savta for some of the exercises she does for her back rehab. It's fun to have a workout partner.

It was a Thanksgiving to remember.

After Dinner Walk with Saba and Grandma

All the grown-ups were feeling really full after dinner, so I told Saba and Grandma that I'd keep them company on a walk. The sunset was really pretty. Grandma spotted a rabbit, but it moved too fast so I missed it. I was so relaxed that I took a little nap on the way back to Saba and Savta's house.

Mom made me change into a dress for dinner. I got in my booster seat and I was ready to eat! I had some broccoli, biscuits and Cheerios!


After dinner, I sat down to play some more.

My First Thanksgiving

Today is my first Thanksgiving! And I'm 8 months old today!We drove out to Saba and Savta's house last night. I watched Saba put the turkey in the oven and Mom made stuffing following Great Grandma's recipe. I had some mango in the mesh feeder. It lets me suck all of the juice out of a piece of fruit.

Grandma came over first. She brought me a blanket to keep at Saba and Savta's house. Mom and Dad put my toys on it and I rolled around on it. Great Grandma and Uncle Steve arrived next. I was excited to see them, too!

Liam & Me

I got to spend time with my friends Liam and Addison over the weekend. Liam is a few months older than me and getting ready to walk. Every time I turned around that guy was propping himself up on a couch or a chair trying to stand up. He's funny.

GG Krcina and Grandma Suarez came to Tucson to see me! On Sunday all of us went over to visit my GG & Papa Karchmer. I ate Cheerios by the handful while they ate their lunch!
