We saw the special doctor who looked at my x-rays and foot today. He took cut off the splint. He thought my foot looked a little swollen, but he pressed on all of my bones and it didn't hurt. Mom and Dad let me try to stand on my foot. I put it down, but I'm not ready to walk around on it yet. We're just going to take it easy for a few days and see how it goes.

anna, chico & TV!
Aunt Anna and Cousin Chico came over today to play. I had a lot of fun. Mom shot a bunch of video of Chico and me, so hopefully Dad will post it soon.
Since I've got a busted foot, Mom lets me watch TV as a special treat. I think she's just using it as a sedative.

i broke my ankle!
I took a spill yesterday and hurt my foot. I didn't cry and it didn't bruise or swell up, but it hurt to put weight on it so I couldn't walk or stand up. This morning we went to the hospital to check it out and it turns out I have a tiny hairline fracture in one of the bones in my ankle. My ankle is in a splint now, and we're going to see a pediatric bone specialist on Monday to figure out if I'm going to need a cast or not.
After the hospital we took a walk and went to the park. I played with a bunch of the other kids there and spent some time on my favorite swing!

band in a box
Mom and Dad got me a band in a box for my birthday. It's filled with all kinds of musical instruments. This was supposed to be a video where I demonstrated how to use each of the instruments contained therein, but I decided to ambush the camera and cameraman instead.
descanso gardens
Yesterday we went to Descanso Gardens with our friends Brett and Shae who just moved here from Pennsylvania. I got to see lots of pretty flowers, fish, ducks, geese, turtles and play in the grass!
