Getting Ready for Bed

It was time for me and Adam to go to bed, but we sent Mommy a few pictures before we went to bed.

Ellie & Rose go to Target

While Adam and I drove to Disneyland with Grandma, Mommy & Daddy took Ellie & Rose to Target for the first time! They had a special twin shopping cart just for them. They really wanted to run through the store, but were happy riding in the cart.

Spring Break

My Spring Break started today and Grandma picked us up to take us to Disneyland! We drove to our hotel, met with the concierge to help plan our visit and explored the area around the hotel.

Open House

Tonight was Open House at my school. Everyone was able to come to my class and see what I've been doing. Afterwards we got some yummy cupcakes from a food truck parked at the school.

Birthday Cupcakes at School

Mommy and Daddy brought cupcakes to school so that I could celebrate my birthday with my friends.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I turned 6! We celebrated with yummy donuts for breakfast. After we ate I opened my gifts. I got new light up shoes and jewelry. Grandma called to tell me Happy Birthday. Before school we played and Adam made a train for us all to ride in. Then I got dressed in the shirt and headband that Chelsea gave me for my birthday and went to school.

Ellie & Rose's artwork

Here are some of Ellie & Rose's projects at school.

Angels Flight

Today at lunch Adam and Mommy rode the "Shortest Railway in the World" (298 feet)- the Angels Flight funicular. It recently reopened after being closed for repairs for several years. Angels Flight dates back to 1901, when Bunker Hill was one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in Los Angeles and the cars, Olivet and Sinai, ferried prominent citizens up and down the steep slope between Hill and Olive streets. The beloved landmark was dismantled for "urban renewal" of the area in 1969. In the early 1990s, the Railway was refurbished and relocated a half-block south, reopening adjacent to California Plaza in 1996.
