Legoland Day 1- New Year's Eve

Today was our first day in the park.  It started off rainy and cold, but the sun came out later in the day.  Our friend Rachel came with us.  We got to ride some of our favorite rides.  Adam spent his Chanukah money from Saba & Savta on a sword and Chima cape.  Ellie & Rose got their faces painted.  We saw a concert and watched a 4D movie.  We also went ice skating for the first time!  We were glad that they had plastic seal sleds we could ride and hold on to!  We were glad that we only needed to stay up until 8PM for the brick drop and fireworks show.

Legoland

We drove down to spend a few days at Legoland and celebrate the New Year!  After we checked in, we went to the lobby to play charades and enter the building contest.  Adam, Daddy and I built a menorah and Ellie & Rose built an ornament.

Equestfest

We got up close and personal with the 2015 Rose Parade equestrian units at Equestfest. We watched beautiful horses and talented riders perform drills and dances and demonstrate trick riding and roping. There was a group of women riders who wore Tina Turner costumes and performed to her songs.  We got to stroll through the stables, talk to riders and learn about the various tack and the many different breeds.
