August Wrap-Up

Here are some random pictures from August.  I got to spend a couple of days with Natalie and we went to the Getty Center and to walk her dog Legend.  Rose looked like she was having a spa day one day after her bath.  Adam at his drum lessons.

Tall Ships Festival 2014

We went to the Port of LA for the Tall Ships Festival today to see the World's Largest Rubber Duck.  It was hot and crowded and we all got a little crabby...but we did make our way to see the Duck!  After the Duck we went on the Bill of Rights, one of the tall ships.  We even got to meet the crew dog.  Then we went to the Navy ship, SS Lane Victory.  We ended the day with burgers and milk shakes at Ruby's!

Family Day at Santa Monica Airport

We went to the Santa Monica Airport today for Family Day.  Some of the pilots brought out their planes so that we could sit in them.  We got to go into a Cessna!  It was fun to sit in the pilot seat.  We wish we could have gone up in the air!
