Railroad Park!

This morning we went to the Railroad Park in Phoenix. It was hot, but we had a good time. Me and Adam got to ride on the carousel and on a big train. We had our fun and then got out of there and back into the air conditioned cars!

adam eats

Teacher Edith helps feed Adam his rice cereal and peaches at school. At home, Adam grabs the spoon and feeds himself. He can also hold his sippy cup and drink on his own already.

Star Eco Station

Today we went to an exotic wildlife rescue center caled STAR ECO Station. They work in collaboration with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other government and environmental organizations, to provide a last chance for illegal or abandoned at-risk exotic wildlife. Most of the animals they have were abused or kept as illegal pets. We got to see lots of very interesting animals!

Adam's 6 Month Check-Up

Adam had his 6-month check up today with Dr. Raker. He had a lot of fun tearing up the paper on the table! He got three shots and one oral vaccine and it didn't seem to bother him that much at all.

Here are his stats:
Weight- 17 lbs 4 oz (42nd percentile) up from 15 lbs 11 oz at 4 months
Height- 27.5 inches (82nd percentile) up from 26 inches at 4 months

Rice Cereal...mmm...yummy

Adam had rice cereal for the first time today. I'm not sure that he liked it very much. I told him to try it and say "mmmmm".

He did like playing with the spoon, though!
