The teachers at school have been teaching me the sign language sign for "more". My friend Tom here will show you how it's done:



Tonight I decided to use it to tell Mom and Dad that I wanted more cherries for dessert. They were surprised- they didn't realize that I knew how to do it. I did the sign a few more times during the evening- in the bath and during storytime. Mom was able to catch it on video:

seeing the world in a whole new way

Today was a big day...Dad turned my car seat around to face forward! Now I can see everything! We took a drive to Target and it was lots of fun. I laughed the whole time.

Fun in Irvine

Mom, Dad and I drove down to Irvine today to see Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Angie, Cousin Naomi. Saba and Savta are visiting for the week, so we got to see them, too.

We went to the pool at Uncle Jonathan & Aunt Angie's complex. They had a special pool just for kids. I played with some older kids and Saba took me out and let me kick my legs and splash around.

Today was water play day at school. We got to put on our bathing suits and head up to the roof of our school to play in the sprinklers. I didn't like the sprinklers spraying water on me. Maybe I'll get used to it- we get to have water play every other week.

Me and Mom took Dad out for a Father's Day breakfast at Mel's Diner. I like walking down to Mel's. We hadn't been there in a long time. I had some fruit, scrambled egg, hash browns, english muffin and a few bites of french toast. Yum. There was a lot of fun stuff to look at so I dragged Dad along for a walk around the place.





Before breakfast we gave Dad our gifts. I made him a shirt and tie with a little poem attached and Mom got Dad some great books to read me at storytime!

Summer Fun

My school has a special program during the summer and we get to do extra art projects and other fun things, like water play. We all got a green shirt to wear on Thursdays. This is Teacher Edith, Ellaena, David and me.

clarissa's birthday / cupcakes!

Yesterday was my friend Clarissa's 1st birthday. We celebrated with some delicious cupcakes that her Mom brought us.


Clarissa has earned her seat at the big kids' table now.

Bathtime with Anna and Chico

Anna and Chico came over this evening for dinner and my bath. I just love when Anna and Chico come over. We always have so much fun! I was trying to get Chico to take a bath with me. He didn't want to come in. Maybe next time.
