We celebrated the festival of sukkot at a friend's house. They had a great big sukkah (temporary shelter or "booth") set up in the backyard. Daddy and I did the sukkot blessing with the etrog (a citrus fruit similar to a lemon from Israel) and lulav (a palm branch, two willow branches and three myrtle branches). We waved the etrog and lulav in all six directions (east, south, west, north, up and down), symbolizing the fact that G-d is everywhere. I also made some Sukkot art.
